Accessibility Statement

A.Lane & Co. wants everyone to be able to use our website, courses and resources, including people with disabilities. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep improving our pages and materials as we learn.

What we've done

Course videos include captions and a written transcript.
Images have text descriptions (alt text) for screen readers.
Pages use clear headings so they're easy to navigate.
Text and button colors are chosen for readable contrast.
Forms and checkout fields have visible labels.
Our downloadable guides are text-based PDFs that screen readers can read.
Our Room Design Calculator marks input cells with a symbol (✎), not just color.

Third-party platforms

Some parts of our site run on platforms we use but don't fully control. Content Creator Machine hosts our pages, checkout, surveys and course portal. Stripe processes payments, and some tools are delivered through Google Sheets. We choose providers that are working on accessibility, and we pass along issues we find. Some features on these platforms may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
